Obituary of Emelia A Jurisko

Emelia A Jurisko, age 72, of Port Charlotte, FL., formerly of Whitehouse, died on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Tidewell Hospice Inc., Port Charlotte. Emelia was born to Aloysious and Emelia Pierce on February 3, 1943 in Jersey City. She lived in Whitehouse for many years before moving to Port Charlotte 10 years ago. Emelia was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jack; her daughter, Jennifer (William) Flynn of Port Charlotte; her son, Joseph (Jennifer) Jurisko of Port Charlotte; a sister, Lucille Henyecz of North Port, FL; 2 brothers, Aloysious Pierce of Hillsborough, NJ and Arthur Pierce of Delaware; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, John Jurisko. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
