On Sunday I had to say goodbye to a man that I loved very much. My nephew Keith's father Keith. I have known Keith for 35 years. Keith had a rough childhood and a really bad health history. He suffered two hearts attacks and a stroke 10 years ago that left him essentially wheelchair bound for the last 10 years. The doctors told us he wouldn't make it but Keith was a fighter like no one I have ever known. He never gave up and always wanted to get stronger, "strong like bull" according to Keith. Recently Keith's heart became weaker and he was in and out of the hospital many, many times over the past 4 months. He had to leave the wonderful group home and program he was in and live in a nursing home at 58 but Keith never gave up and never complained about his situation. No matter what he was going through physically when I asked him how he was he would always say "good I can't complain". I am not sure how he could not complain because I can't think of anybody that would be more justified than him. I will remember Keith for many things over the last 35 years and especially for being a part of giving me my nephew Keith but the major thing I will keep with me is how unbelievably strong, content and positive Keith was until the very end. I hope that I can be more like Keith and not let hard times ever get in my way. So thank you Keith for showing me how to have strength and courage until the very end. "And I love you and I miss you"

Keith was a fighter and made the best of his situation. He will be missed by his loved ones. He is at peace now and will not be forgotten. My prayers, thoughts, and love are with "little" Keith during this difficult time
