Obituary of Jossie Chevere

Jossie Chevere, age 77 of Somerville, NJ, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born in Maricao, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Leocadio and Leonor Roman. Jossie lived in Manville before moving to Somerville in 1971. She worked for Somerset Recycling in Bridgewater, NJ for 23 years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, José M. Chevere, her loving sons, José M. Chevere, Jr. and his wife, Amy, and David Chevere. She is also survived by her 4 brothers, Nelson Roman, Raphael Roman, Leo Roman, and Robert Roman, 3 sisters, Estervina Roman, Hortensia Roman and Olga Roman and her 4 precious grandchildren, Mia, Giovanna, Joseph and Yvette. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
