Irene was a close family friend. She and I talked almost every other week for quite a while. She was very faith-filled, and loved and trusted the Lord, and she felt like the Lord blessed her throughout her life. She and I had many conversations about faith. I know through my very recent conversations with her, that she was at peace with whatever the good Lord had in store for her because she trusted in Him so much.
Irene knew my parents and my family for a very long time. At times, during our conversations I felt like she was giving me Mom advice, or lectures, or slight scoldings (lol). While I may not have appreciated or liked it at the time, I appreciate that a lot now.
I will miss my conversations with her! I loved her, and our conversations (OK - maybe not so much when she was setting me straight - lol) May she rest in peace in the Lord's loving arms.

Irene was my mother Lillian Consalvos best friend from childhood thru their passing, my mother last January and Renee last Friday.
My father Charles and I had lunch with Renee this past summer and enjoyed the time we all spent together talking about our collective memories.
I worked as a teenager for Renee taking care of her yard and her Newf's. I even went to the Westminster Dog show one year with her and her dog Bossum.
Renee was a very special lady and a great friend to my family. She will be missed very much.
