I taught Religious Education for many years at Our Lady of Lourdes. Greg was a student of mine for 5th grade CCD, when classes were held at Whitehouse School. Of all the many, many children that came through my classrooms, Gregg is one that I especially remember. he was always kind, respectful, well behaved and he just "got it". I always wondered how he made out in life. I was so sorry it ended so soon. May God rest his soul, and bring it peace. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I knew Greg Barchi first as a vendor (solar monitoring) when he was at World Water, later as a customer ( when he was at Draker). He was a great friend and an amazing person. The stories of his experiences were fantastic & I always thought he should write a book. It was with great pleasure that I was able to host him in Maine & I was looking forward to future events when he moved closer. I'm deeply saddened to hear today of his passing. What a terrific guy.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Barchi family. Gregg and I had met through the solar industry and became friends and stayed in contact with one another through the years. When Gregg was traveling and in the area he always made it a point to call or stop by. Not just to speak of work, but to see how my family and I were doing. Simply put, Gregg was an absolute pleasure to be around. He will be sorely missed by everyone who got to know him. Thank you for the many wonderful memories Gregg.
We grieve now for your loss, but we know you are truly in a better place.

I'm Rosi's sister and Ilona's aunt, which is how I got to know Gregg. I live on San Juan Island in Washington State, and Gregg visited here several times. He, Rosi and Ilona came (for 4 days) in August 2016. In retrospect, I'm very grateful that I was able to see and hug him one more time. I'm honored and thankful to have known him. He had a great, caring heart and wonderful humor. When he smiled, his eyes did too. Such a loss for those of us left behind, and for all those who never got to know him. He made the world a better place, I think. I know he made mine better.
I hope that you will find peace, and that Gregg will find a way to get in touch. May you feel surrounded with love and comfort.

Mike and I are sorry to hear of Gregg's passing, and share in the Barchi family's grief. I had the pleasure of working with Gregg at Worldwater. He was not just a coworker, but also a dear friend. Mike an I will miss him at our holiday dinners and backyard bbqs, where he would regale us with his hilarious "road warrior" tales. Gregg was a kind and generous soul who was always there to lend a helping hand, no matter what. He is greatly missed.

I've had the pleasure to work with Gregg over the last 2 plus years. He was a wealth of knowledge and always willing to work with me and educate my developing mind. We often spoke, and the majority of the time it was about life and the struggles we all face. He will be greatly missed on this earth, heaven has claimed another good soul.
