Obituary of Martha Charnuska

Martha Charnuska, age 95 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at home. Born in Freeland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Pauline Koloski. Martha had lived in Bound Brook before moving to Whitehouse Station 64 years ago. She had worked as an assembler at Diehl Manufacturing Company in Finderne, NJ for 14 years. Martha was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and was a charter member of the Altar Rosary Society. She also belonged to the Readington and Lourdes Senior Citizen groups. Martha was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Charnuska, her 5 brothers, Edward, Bernard, Aloysius, John and Joseph and her 4 sisters, Aneda, Philomena, Genevieve and Pauline. She is survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews; and great great great nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 9:30AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough.
