Obituary of Jean B. Carhart

Jean B. Carhart, age 103 of Tewksbury Twp., NJ, died Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

Born in Duluth, MN, she was the daughter of the late Orie and Mae Bossuet.  Jean had lived in Warren before moving to Tewksbury Twp. in 1983.

She was a member of the Fairmount Presbyterian Church, the Tewksbury Seniors Club, and the Tewksbury Women’s Club.  Jean also volunteered at the Tewksbury Library.  She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, a great cook, and excellent baker.   The thing she loved most of all was spending time with her grandchildren.

Jean was predeceased by her husband, Nelson Carhart who died in 1964.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Fielder and her husband, Jack of Tewksbury Twp. and her son, Nelson Carhart and his wife, Diane of Warren Twp.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel Fielder, Megan Fielder, Nelson Carhart III, Michael Havekost and Diana Allen and her great grandchildren, Justin and Owen Fielder, Michael Fuson, and Nicole Paulk and 1 great great grandchild, Kinsey Frace.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
