Obituary of Frank Carl Hornich

Frank Carl Hornich III, age 73 of Bridgewater, NJ, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Frank and Olive Hornich.

Frank had been a resident of Bridgewater for the past 36 years.

He worked in the sales department for Panasonic in Secaucus before his retirement in 2008.

Frank was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick.  He loved the ocean, and had a passion for deep sea fishing. He cared about all animals but had a special bond with dogs.  For many years he and his wife were involved in showing and breeding Bullmastiff dogs.  He was devoted to his family and especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s concerts.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janet; his son, Frank Jr. and his wife, Tara of Piscataway; his daughter, Kristy Schaub and her husband, Al of Hillsborough and his 2 grandchildren, Mason Schaub and Jayne Hornich.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, March 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse Station, NJ 0888

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 11:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, 56 Old Turnpike Road, Oldwick, NJ 08858.
