Obituary of Anne Reynolds Smart

Anne Reynolds Smart, age 86 of Hackettstown, NJ, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Born in Maplewood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Alma Mary Reynolds. Having lived in Oldwick for 30 years, Anne moved to Heath Village in Hackettstown three years ago.

Anne joins her beloved husband, Thomas who passed away one week ago.  In their younger days, they enjoyed spending time with friends and had a wonderful social life.  They loved attending steeplechase races, balloon festivals and traveling abroad.  Over the years they were fortunate to take ski trips all throughout Europe.

In addition to her husband, Anne was predeceased by her step-son, Thomas Smart III in 2013.

She is survived by her two sons, William Bonorden and his wife, Linda of Brewster, NY and Martin Bonorden of Custer, SD.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Meg Schwartz of Custer, SD and her step-daughter-in-law, Gail Smart of Denver, CO.

Interment will take place at a time to be announced at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
