Obituary of Glendessa Insabella

Glendessa (Glenda) Mary Insabella, age 75 of Branchburg, NJ, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Glendessa Sherman.

She worked as the Assistant to the President and Office Manager for the Independent College Fund of NJ and the Association of Independent Colleges & Universities in NJ for over 50 years.

Glenda was a warm and caring woman whose joy in life centered on her family. Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite holidays because of family gatherings and traditions. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and dressing like Mrs. Clause for her grandchildren on Christmas Day. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Glenda was predeceased by her older brother, George E. Sherman, Jr.

She is survived by her loving children, Glenda of Whitehouse Station; and John and his wife, Kristin of Branchburg; and her five precious grandchildren, John, Katie, Kyle, Chase and Kelly.

A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Bridgewater.

Friends may visit with the family this Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
