Obituary of Reba Elizabeth Jermyn

Reba Elizabeth Jermyn, age 93, passed away at the NJ Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Born in Beaver Meadows, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter R. and Elizabeth (Gibbon) Dunn.  She was a graduate of Hazelton High School and the McCann School of Business in Hazelton, PA.

Reba and her husband, Bill lived in Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas and Louisiana before settling in Branchburg, NJ in 1956.

She was employed for 10 years in the Admitting Department at Somerset Medical Center (now RWJ Somerset).

Reba was an active member of the Readington Reformed Church for over 60 years where she taught Sunday School, accompanied the Junior Choir on piano and was a member of the Women’s Guild.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, embroidery, crossword puzzles and cheering for the NY Yankees and Chicago Bulls.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, William R. Jermyn and her daughter, Jane E. Jermyn of Branchburg.

A funeral service at the Readington Reformed Church, 124 Readington Road, Readington, NJ 08870, will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00AM.

Burial will follow in the Readington Reformed Church Cemetery.
