Geraldine was my down-the-hall neighbor in New York City for over thirty years. Her free spirit and zest for life were inspiring. I was so happy to be part of a community that included Geraldine. She was always welcoming to the stream of young people that moved in through the years. I thought perhaps she was on vacation; I only recently learned that we will not be seeing her sunny smile again. Our little community here in the building will miss her very much.
My deepest condolences to her friends and, especially, her supportive and beautiful family.
