Obituary of Clifford Perry
It is with great sadness that the family of Clifford Alan Perry announces his passing, on Saturday January 5, 2019, at the age of 74 years.
Cliff served in the United States Navy proudly for 22 years. During his time in the Navy he served three combat tours in Vietnam. Cliff and his wife retired in Raritan NJ in 1982 where they raised their two children Melinda and Joseph.
Cliff was an active member of the Knights of Columbus at Immaculate Conception Church and St. Edwards Church.
Cliff will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Nuala (nee) Mc Brearty, their daughter Melinda, son Joseph, daughter-in-law Milanie, his two grandchildren Nia Marie and JoJo, and family friend Steven Sico. He is survived by his sisters, Florence Roomsberg, Joyce Bush, and his twin, Carol Perry. He will be fondly remembered by his in-laws, Helen and Pat McAlister, Norian McMenamin, and Kathleen Mahaffey, his niece Kelly McAlister, his nephew and wife Patrick and Ciara McAlister, as well as many other nieces and nephews both in Ireland and the United States.
Cliff is predeceased by his mother Florence Babcock, nephews Red and Nicky Bush, his mother and father-in-law, Nora and Joseph Mc Brearty, and sister-in-law Elizabeth Sharkey.
A funeral liturgy will be held on FRIDAY, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801.
Friends may visit with the family on WEDNESDAY, January 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.
Please note, there will no services on THURSDAY, January 10.
