Obituary of Anna Szubiak

Anna Szubiak, age 77 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Riverview Hospital in Red Bank, NJ.

Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late John and Ahwia Grzech. She had an older sister, the late Katarzyna Werbowa, and is survived by her younger sister, Ewa Zopoth.

Anna lived in Stewartsville before moving to Little Egg Harbor four years ago.

She enjoyed being active and participated in exercise classes, swimming and yoga at the retirement community. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed traveling and loved to cook and entertain.

Anna is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Michael; her daughter, JoAnne McGinnis and her husband, Joe of Annandale; and her three cherished grandchildren, Joey, Christina and Elizabeth.

A funeral liturgy will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 685 Hopper Ave, Toms River, NJ.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.

Entombment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ.
