Obituary of Jacqueline Chiappetta

Jacqueline Chiappetta, age 84 of Whitehouse Station, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

 

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Sweeney.

 

Jackie lived in Rahway before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1972.

 

Along with raising her family, she worked as a realtor for Century 21 and was a member of the Four Million Dollar Sales Club in the 1980’s.  In addition, she played a key role as an office administrator in the family business, Ace Electric Services, Inc.

 

Jackie was a long-time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station.  She was an unassuming, kind and nurturing woman.  She loved to garden and cook, and dote on her husband, children and grandchildren. She spent many years at her New Jersey shore house making a lifetime of memories with her family.  Family was the world to her, and she will be tremendously missed by all.

 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Andrew in 2005.

 

Jackie is survived by her five children, Diane and her husband, Vincent of Keller, TX, Joanne and her husband, Allen of Doylestown, PA, John and his wife, Kathy of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Richard and his wife, Lana of Medford, NJ and Lynn Chiappetta of Wilmington, DE.  She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, John, Larissa, Tyler, Matthew, Blake, Brandon, Jack, Natalie, Michael, Joseph and Violet.  She is also survived by her sister, Joan Alexander of Brick, NJ and two brothers, Thomas Sweeney of Clark, NJ and Patrick Sweeney of Albany, NY.

 

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station.

 

There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.

 

Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery.
