Obituary of Alfred H Angelone

Alfred H. Angelone, age 89 of Flemington, NJ, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Angelone.

Alfred had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Readington Township over 30 years ago.

He was a master cabinetmaker and a meticulous and gifted woodworker.  His talent was the kind that could not be taught, he was born with it.  Alfred was a devout Yankee fan and a lover of country music, most especially Hank Williams.  He was a dedicated family man and cherished the times spent together with his family.  He will be tremendously missed by all who knew him.

Alfred was predeceased in 2009 by his 9-11 firefighter son-in-law, Richard Manetta.

He is survived by his devoted wife of  63 years, Rachel; his two daughters, Diana Picerno and her husband, Ernie and Maria Manetta both of Flemington; his two sons, Michael Angelone and his wife, Debbie of Monroe Twp. and Robert Angelone and his wife, Valerie of Staten Island; his sister, Theresa Lodespoto of Long Island and his six grandchildren, Lisa, James, Gina, Casey, Robert John Jr., and Christian as well as his three great grandchildren, Olivia, Samantha and Andrew.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 9:45 AM at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Three Bridges, NJ.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.

Burial will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
