Marie was a beautiful soul, who welcomed me one summer between college terms into her home with Pam and Hans. We connected as kindred spirits and had so much fun together! We cooked and baked. She showed me how to make perogies from scratch. We watched movies and had heart to hearts. We laughed a lot. We prayed too. We saw each other a time or two after that, but the sense of knowing someone and being known didn't leave our hearts. I know I will see her again in heaven, and I am thankful to have known such a beautiful, loving woman. Her love for her children, her grandchildren, her family and friends was evident in everything she did. Her legacy of love will continue. We love you, Marie...and we can't wait to give you a big hug in heaven!
