Obituary of Marie Lunden

Marie McClusky Lunden, age 90 of Orwigsburg, PA went home to be with the Lord on September 4, 2019 with her family by her side.

Born in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Matilda (Debert) Barabas.  Marie resided in Whitehouse, NJ for many years before moving to Orwigsburg. 

Marie worked at Van Doren Oil Company in Whitehouse Station, The Dollhouse in Lebanon and then after moving to Pennsylvania she worked at Slate Belt Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bangor. But her life centered around her very large and loving family.  Her joy was just to spend time with each and everyone of them. 

Marie is survived by her 4 children, Linda Hendershot and her husband, John; Sandra McGrath and her husband, John; Thomas McClusky and his wife Diana; and Pamela Fox and her husband, Hans.  She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, Brad, David, Christy, Heather, Todd, Kimberly, Kelly, Megan, Kyle, Thomas, Michael, Amanda, Brittany, and Jeremiah and 31 great grandchildren, her sister, Irene Calnan and her brothers, Eddie Barabas and Richard Barabas.

Marie was predeceased by her great granddaughter, Ariel and her brother, Robert Barabas. 

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held  at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 with inurnment to follow at Rural Hill Cemetery.
