Obituary of Eion G McRae

Eion G. McRae, Ph.D., age 88, of Whitehouse Station, died at his home on Saturday, December 7, 2019.

Born in Tambellup, Australia, he was the son of the late Ian and Blanche (Gittins) McRae.

He came to the United States in 1963 and lived in Berkley Heights before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1980.

Eion worked as a scientist for Bell Labs in Murry Hill from 1963 untill his retirement in 1990.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean in 2016.

He is survivied by his two sons, Graeme and his wife, Catherine of Palm Dale, CA and Colin and his wife, Crystal of Laurel, MD and by his six grandchildren, Caitlin, Matthew, Meghan, Mark, Alec and Elle and his one great grandchild, Holly.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.

 A life celebration will be held this Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:30 PM at the Natirar Mansion, 2 Main Street Peapack & Gladstone, NJ.
