Dear Marie,
I’ve called you Mrs. Clarke and I’ve called you Marie, it doesn’t matter, you will always be my second Mom. I remember you sitting on the end of your bed watching Tom Jones on TV. You’d listen to your Engelbert Humperdinck albums on Saturdays while cleaning the house! Sharon and I would go through your makeup drawer and you would let us try it all on. I can see you and Tom staying at the table after dinner enjoying time together while looking out at the pretty trees. We really did “live the life” on Bonnie Brook Terrace, it was a wonderful place to grow up and you are a huge part of my childhood memories, and adult memories!! I will miss the creamiest Chicken Parmesan ever and no one could ever top your Eye of Round, perfectly cooked and thinly sliced on a roll – “Tom, go get the rolls!” Thank you for always being a part of my family, you will always be in my best memories,
