Obituary of Marie Clarke

Marie G. Clarke, age 92 of Whitehouse Station, NJ died Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.

Born in Bayonne, NJ, Marie was the daughter of the late Robert and Marie Parente. She was a long-time resident of Little Egg Harbor before moving to Whitehouse Station five years ago.

Marie’s favorite way to spend a day was shopping and having lunch with her daughter, and she always enjoyed relaxing with a glass of wine, appetizers, and great company. She cherished her family above all and was never happier than when everyone could be together in one place. 

Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas, in 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kopcienski and her husband, Paul, of Bridgewater; her three sons, Thomas and his wife, Aileen, of Naples, FL; Gary and his wife, Michele, of Toms River; and Glenn and his wife, Bridgette, of Melbourne Beach, FL; as well as her brothers, Robert Parente of Lebanon and Tony Parente of Middlesex. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlin and Jennifer Kopcienski; Ashley Repka, Jason, Alicia and Brandon Clarke; Jennifer Rubin; and Brandon, Anthony, Stephen, and Nicholas Kakascik, as well as five precious great grandchildren.

Due to gathering restrictions, services will be held at a later date.
