This is a continuation of the story begun on the tribute wall by George Null on January 4th. As George said, it was Jane who alerted him to the fact that our neighbor Sharon, who lived alone, had not shown up for an appointment. Jane suggested that George go to Sharon's house. How many lawyers would do that? He went, and found Sharon on he floor, one leg in dire straits, with no phone handy. She'd been that way for several hours. George called 911 and the EMTs got Sharon to the hospital just in time to operate on her leg. Jane's caring and reaching out to George surely saved Sharon's leg, and possibly her life. We all repeat: How many lawyers would do that??? And the icing: When Sharon was homebound after the operation, Jane travelled to her home (more than once) to help her with legal business.
What a remarkable person Jane was! It is hard to be settled with knowing she is gone from out midst, but we are privileged to have such poignant and endearing memories of her time here. We are all the better for the privilege of having had her in our lives.
May her family and her friends find comfort in remembering her kindness and laughter.
Rest happily, Jane, and thank you profoundly.

Jane has been a long time attorney of my father, my grandparents and myself as well as a close family friend! I’ve known Jane since I was a little boy, she was such a wonderful, intelligent, hardworking person who was always there to be of help. I considered Jane family as she was close to mine. You will never be forgotten and will always be missed! Rest In Peace Jane!

I met Jane when she was playing in dirt many years ago, and a mutual friend, Walt Hudnett introduced us. Jane was a gentle soul whom l took to instantly. Besides my attorney, Jane became my friend & sister. We had talks over bagels at her table when she wasn't busy. ( Tara made sure Jane was free ) I'll miss our talks, your laughter, and the days when you went to play in dirt. Thanks for being my friend and there for me and my family over the years. RIP

Jsne was always a force. She had an energy that was always on display. I can still hear Jane's infectious laugh and yet I remember the times her voice dropped to give a comforting word.

The Lawer Who Cared
It was a March morning & I had recommended Jane as a Attorney for Her. Later in Morning, the phone rings & it is Jane. " Sharon has not showed up. My response was " I understand that there was a accident on I-78, probably caught in traffic jam" It was 5:00 in evening & phone rang & it was Jane. " You better go to Her house & make sure that Sharon is OK." I drive up to Sharon's & was able to get through side door. I find Sharon conuous on floor with Her leg twisted under Her. There is a trailer to this Story, The Story could be told by My next door Neighbor Joan Bowman.

I am saddened to hear this news. My mother, Elinor Fisher, was a close friend of Jane’s. I have fond memories of Mom and Jane laughing, dancing and telling stories in our living room. She was a lifesaver when my mother was stricken with Alzheimer’s and with helping with things when she passed. I will miss Jane more than anybody will ever know. I hope that she and Mom are reunited and having a hell of a time. My deepest condolences to all of her family.
