To the Resetar Family, I want to take this opportunity to send on the sincere sympathies of all of the members of the USS HANCOCK CV/CVA 19 Association.
His service to our country is particularly recognized by our membership, as you are part of our "Navy Family". The sacrifices of him during his service to our country are deeply appreciated. He was truly one of our WWII heroes.
His name will be added to our December newsletter, and additionally, he will be entered in our Taps listing, and remembered at our Memorial Service held at every reunion.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in these very trying times. We all hope that with the passing of time the pain of your loss will be more bearable, and you can recall fondly all the good memories you have.
Wayne Erven, Past President, and present Secretary HANCOCK Assn

Mike befriended my children & I in 1988 when we moved to BR & joined St. James parish. He was always cordial, a great greeter & usher & allowed my children to help with collections when they were young.A great Patriot & friend who i will never forget!

Please accept our sincere condolences on Mike's passing. He was such a familiar face at Masses at St. James and always had a kind word and smile. My late father in law, like Mike a Navy veteran of WWII, always enjoyed talking with Mike on his visits here. It seems I saw Mike just a week or two ago at Mass and shook his hand as always. I will miss him. The St. James community will all remember him fondly.
