Obituary of Nancy Stevenson

Nancy Stevenson, age 91 of Flemington, NJ died peacefully at her home on Friday, September 15, 2023.

The daughter of a Pastor, Nancy grew up playing the piano and singing hymns, a joy she continued throughout her life and passed on to her children and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful writer, her works including both poetry and short stories.  Throughout her married life, she was fortunate to have been able to travel the world and enjoyed exploring it through backpacking, rock climbing and scuba diving to name a few of her adventures.

She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Hanson in 2015.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Ross; her three sons, Peter and his wife, Julie of Flemington, Philip of MN, and Jay of NJ; her brother, Richard Hanson and his wife, Cheryl of Poultney, VT, her sister, Elizabeth Mellen and her husband, Allen of Manhattan, NY; her granddaughter, Sara Stevenson D'sa and her husband, Samir and her grandson, Philip Stevenson as well as two great grandchildren, Kiran and Avi Stevenson D'Sa.
