The news of Randy's passing has of course saddened me. But his news also took my thoughts back to the Somerset office where Randy (and Peggy Cools, the dynamic duo) was known as an upbeat guy who wore an ever-present smile – he gave it freely to everyone. I feel privileged to have known Randy and I’m praying for Martin, his family and all of Randy’s friends so that they may be comforted with the memories of a man who knew how to live life and make others feel good about themselves. Peace is now with Randy.

Dear Marti,
We were very sorry to hear about Randy. We will always remember his exuberance and outgoing personality! He made us laugh many times when we were together!
You were the first friends that we made when we moved to NJ and were living in that small apartment in Somerville. Thank you for reaching out to us, and being so kind and generous to us at that time. We will always remember it.
With fondness and sympathy,
Steve, Aimee, Juliana and Jessica Stikons

We met you both on the most glorious adventure of a lifetime the Crossing of the QE2. Marty you and Randy were our hosts due to Karen Hall not being able to make the trip. You both lead our group of Hunterdon County travelers on a vacation we will always remember and still talk about. We so enjoyed the conversations regarding your many travels. We were so saddened to read of Randy's passing. Please accept our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to you Marty and all of your loved ones. It was a joy to be in your company. May God Bless. Joe and Sharon

I had the honor and privilege of working with Randy at AT&T and he was always very professional and a joy to be around. It's not often in one's life that an Angel is placed in your path, to guide and assist you and he is one of the "Great Ones!" Randy will surely be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his beloved Martin and his family. Thank God for having delivered such a Blessing in our lives...May his Light continue to shine in each of Us. I know I am better for having him intersect my Life! Give Thanks and Praise for our Angel has gone Home!

I met Randy while we went through chemo together in 2004. He always had a smile and a positive attitude to aspire to. Even though he was going through a hard time he and Marty made sure to call and check on their Whitehouse neighbor and offer me any help I needed. Marty my thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

when i told my little girl about randy, she was so sad! she STILL remembers the wonderful man who played hide & seek with her in the hallways of at&t so many years ago. i am so sad too -- and SO blessed to have been able to call him my friend. we worked very closely for years on different projects, and shared a lot of laughs and good conversations often having absolutely nothing to do with said projects. ;) randy was one of a kind, and i loved him. we all did. marty, please accept my deepest condolences. you will be in my thoughts.

The best way to describe Randy is: "Everyone's friend". A truly nice guy who was fun to work with and a great team player. Randy will be missed very much.

Dearest Marty,
Randy, his smile, his humor, his vibrance and caring nature, will live on forever in our collective memories. I realize mere words provide little comfort at this time of great loss and intense sorrow, but please accept the deep sympathy I offer to you and Randy's other family members.
I, too, truly miss him.

Please accept my condolances. They seem so little to offer in this sad and difficult time, but I hope they bring you some sense of confort. I worked with Randy, and saw him occasionally at the Union Hotel in recent years. I will remember him there, happy and enjoying life. I am truly sorry that I cannot make the service for him, but will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, Randy ~ You always brightened my day ! By the stories you told, pictures you shared or even just calling up your voice mail message...you always had a NJ weather report for me! I smile now thinking of you and your 'radio voice' -- It was a joy knowing you!
