Obituary of Deborah J. Ramalho

Deborah Jean Ramalho (nee Ambrose), 48, passed away on Saturday, June 07, 2008 at her home in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Debbie was a graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, class of 1978. She distinguished herself as a dancer with the Eleanor Connell School of dance and as an honor student and a varsity gymnast at Hunterdon Central. She graduated from University of Arizona summa cum laude with a B.A. in Communications. Debbie, a life-long resident of Hunterdon County, will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and loving nature and especially for her love of her two beautiful children, Dana Marie Ramalho, 16, and John Richard Ramalho, 15. She enjoyed dancing, skiing, diving, traveling and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed her family. She is survived by her children, her father, John V. Ambrose, Jr., her brother, John Ambrose, her sister, Diane Ambrose, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Bush, her mother, Gloria Ambrose, and her cousin, Janet Eick (nee Zylstra). A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 12, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
