I'm heartbroken to learn of Beth's death.
My husband, Tony, and our son, Joseph and I became very close to Beth while Tony and she were patients at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem.
She was smart and opinionated, and most of all, FUN -- at a time when we weren't having much fun!
My heart goes out to George and the rest of her family.

Beth was always full of smiles and a helping hand when I was younger. She will certainly be missed. I am sorry that I did not get to know her in her adult years where it seems she met the challenges of adulthood with a fervor to be proud of.

Please accept my heart felt condolences. Bess was a wonderful friend to me and my sisters. I look back on the our adventures together as kids profound fondness. Bess even surprised me once with an impromptu visit here in New Orleans just before she joined the Peace Corp. She was as fun loving as ever. I am so sorry. Samantha Salkeld. New Orleans, LA

I was shocked and sorry to hear about Bess. She was a wonderful, giving person. I have so many fond High School memories of her. We tried to get together when she was here last and it just didn't work out. I wish it would have. My heart is breaking for your family. May God Bless you all at this time.

Dear George and Family,
I'm so very sorry that I missed Beth's service... I returned from vacation late Saturday PM. Amy Bentley was kind enough to leave me a message but it was too late. I am so very sorry for your loss. I want you to know that you are in my prayers and had I known of Beth's passing, I would have attended her service. Again, my sincerest sympathies to you, your family and Beth's family.
Respectfully,
Kitty Bliss

Beth's beautiful, lively spirit couldn't be contained for a moment--it filled her and spilled out onto everyone and everything around her. I met her when she was six years old and that was my first impression. She never lost that spirit as so many do as they grow older--her passion for life burned fiercely. She was a bundle of energy, always curious, ready for another challenge or adventure to throw herself into. She loved her family, friends and pets with her whole beautiful, unselfish heart and there aren't words to describe how heartbreaking her death is to all who loved her.

My husband and I graduated High School with Bess and although we did not stay in touch over the years, we remember a lot of fun times with her. She was so full of life and always made us laugh.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family through this difficult time.
