Obituary of William A Schmolze

William (Bill) A. Schmolze, 58, of Tewksbury Township, died suddenly on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. He was born on July 11, 1950 in the Bronx, New York, to Eugene and Catherine (Buck) Schmolze. He lived in Montville, NJ for 20 years before moving to Tewksbury Township 3 years ago. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Janet (Petersen) Schmolze; son Jason Liam Schmolze and his wife Kelli of Basking Ridge, NJ; Keith Justin Schmolze of Mahwah, NJ; Kristin Courtney Schmolze of Califon, NJ; and William (Billy) Brandon Schmolze of Tewksbury Township; sister-in-law Alice Nichols-Schmolze and nephews Dustin and Kyle of Boston, MA; and his two grandchildren Jason Liam Schmolze, Jr. and Ryan Schmolze of Basking Ridge, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Schmolze. Bill had a successful career as real estate agent, running an employment placement business and as a chemist. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing bridge, reading and watching Yankee games. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday October 11, 2008 from 4-7 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. There will be a brief service at 6:30 PM.
