I worked with Karen at Arbor Glenn. She was a wonderful individual. I remember going with her one time to pick up a cake for a work party at her favorite bakery Randazzo's. I was in the area New Years day and passed the bakery and thought of her with a smile. People who are special will create those type of lasting memories. Karen was very special!

I TRULY APPRECIATED LEARNING VALUABLE LESSONS FROM KAREN, I'VE WORKED WITH HER FOR TWO YEARS. SHE HELPED ME ON A PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LEVEL MANY TIMES. I REMEMBER WHEN MY GRANDMOTHER HAD AN UNPREDICTED STROKE, I SAT BEDSIDE MANY A VIGIL. ONE DAY , KAREN CAME TO THE ICU AND JUST SAID "OH" VERY SYMPATHETICALLY. SHE JUST KNEW HOW I FELT AND SHE ASKED ME TO HELP HER DO MY JOB, AND AT THAT MOMENT I KNEW IT WAS TIME TO GET ON WITH LIFE. SHE WAS VERY PATIENT WITH ME AND HER LEADERSHIP AND COMPASSION WILL BE MISSED BY ME. sHE ALSO HAD A LOT OF PATIENCE, SHE WAS ALWAYS A PHONE CALL AWAY WITH ANSWERS AND SHE HELPED ME FEEL CONFIDENT IN DECISION MAKING. I CAN'T EXPRESS FULLY HOW MUCH I LIKED WORKING WITH HER. I KNOW SHE WAS VERY PROUD OF HER CHILDREN. I KNOW SHE ENJOYED HER VACATION WITH HER SISTER AND I KNOW HOW MUCH SHE LOVED HER HUSBAND. I HOPE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT IN MY MEMORY.

Karen was a very caring and faithful friend. She was self-sacrificing, putting others first. I express my sympathy to dear Kelly, who was in confirmation with me, and to the family as you all grieve. This world is no our home, we are meant for something better. Karen's life was complete but you were not done with her yet. Even though you walk through this very dark place God will be with you. His rod and his staff will guide you.
Prayers always,
Rev. Dean Wolbrink

Karen,
Who I have known since I was three, who gave me the biggest gift of all to be close friends with Kelly, her daughter, who took care of me like her own daughter and who always made I was ok with my milk allergies. I will never forget. Finally, after you and my mother worked on getting me to call you just "Karen", you are still " Mrs.Karen Quinn" to me. God Bless you, and your family.
Love,
Diana
