Obituary of Ginny Usher

Mary Virginia Usher, (Ginny), age 84 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, December 3, 2010. Born in Kansas City, KS on May 28, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Isabel Goins. Ginny grew up in Hickory NC, moved to Edison, NJ where she lived for 40 years. She was a secretary at Rutgers Univesity and volunteered many years as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She moved to Clemson, SC where she lived for 7 years and worked as a secretary at Clemson University before she retired to Calabash, NC. Ginny spent her last 5 years in Whitehouse Station. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter L. Usher, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Usher-McKenna and her husband, Peter of Whitehouse Station, her sons, Mickey Usher and wife, Robin of Clemson, SC and Louis Usher and wife, Carole of Central, SC and daughter- in- law, Sandra Usher of Easley, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sean, Melissa, Kyle, and Conor McKenna, Channing, Ethan and Eric Usher and Chris and Carey Usher and 5 great grandchildren and her sister, Alberta Coulter and brother, Gene Goins. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
