Obituary of John C High

John C High, age 40 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in York, SC. John was born on September 19, 1970 in Edison, NJ. He lived most of his life in Whitehouse Station. He was a 1988 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington. He had belonged to a rock band that played gigs in the Hunterdon County area. John had worked in the customer service field for several companies including the Home Depot stores in Hunterdon, Warren and Somerset. John was predeceased by his father, John R. High and his brother, Mark E. High. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary High of Whitehouse Station and his aunts, Charlotte Lynn and Phyllis Pournaras, his uncle, Ken Schreck and several cousins and friends Friends may visit with the family on Monday, January 31, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A service will be held at 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. ( www.stjude.org/tribute)
