I remember always being wild and Ma would always accept me the way I was. She said that I "followed the beat of a different drummer". She was my best form of support and the best mother in the whole world. I appreciate that she would always get Suzie and I out of trouble. I will miss her deary. I love you Ma!

The thing that I remember the most are the sleepovers at Ma's house. I remember when we would sleep over and before we would go to bed, she would read us "The Owl and the Pussy Cat". I absolutely loved that story! I remember waking up she would always have Rice Crispies ready for us on the table. They were in our plastic bowls with the straws attached to them. We would put sugar on top of our cereal because "it wasn't sugary enough." I also remember that Ma would always tell us kids to "drink with two hands!" when drinking our Ovaltine. I remember she would always tell us to "simmer down" whenever we would act up. I remember going to the shore house and having sleepovers over there as well. I remember being in her living room, playing with either Sean's, Uncle John's, or Uncle Chris' toy cars on the "car carpet." I also remember playing with all of the toys in the "toy room" and play dress up with all the jewelry that was in this plastic sort of briefcase thing. Ma always had the best toys at her house! haha. The mornings after sleepovers at Ma's, besides Rice Crispies, I also remember Ma would make the best oatmeal in the world, she would make it with extra milk :) Her mashed potatoes were also amazing. She was such a great cook, loving person and the best grandma in the whole world! I love her and will always miss her!

Jessica and I weren't Angela as children haha so I remember Ma would always tell us when we misbehaved, "hey simmer down!" and she always encouraged us to "use both hands when we would drink something. I remember that Ma would always have rice crispies ready for us on the kitchen table when we would wake up during sleepovers at Ma's house. We would finish eating all our cereal from our plastic bowls with straws attached and would drink from the straws, all the milk that was left over. I always loved Ma's Ovaltine (which we of course had to drink with two hands) Lol. I also remember her mashed potatoes with little pieces of potatoes left in it, sooo good! And her oatmeal that she made extra creamy with milk :) she was such a good cook! I also remember that she was the one who taught me how to hold the end of my sleeve when putting on a coat so that my sleeve doesn't get rolled up :) I also remember when she would read "The Owl and the Pussy Cat" to my sister and I before going to bed <3 I love her and she will always be missed and remembered deeply in my heart.

I wish to extend my deepest condolences to the Bartley family. Kay (Grammie) has been an instrumental loving, nuturing and guiding force the lives of so many for many years, and we are all blessed and better for having been given the gift of her presence in our lives and all of those wonderful memories.
Although her time here has past, she has left wonderful life-long impressions on the many lives she touched. She will live on FOREVER in our hearts and minds, and I thank God for having been given the opportunity to have had Kay in my life.
As we pass thru life and we grow tired, there comes a time when we need to simply rest. God offers that place; He guides us there-- and then--- when the time is right; He calls us to come. Kay has answered the cal and has arrived at His door--Its that wondeful place that we call 'Peace.' Rest well there Kay. You will be greatly missed.
