Deepest condolences to the Grubbs family. I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of his passing. I had the pleasure of working with Mark for several years and considered him a mentor. Mark very recently reached out to me to see if I would be interested in joining him on another project. It was nice reconnecting after all these years. He will be missed.
In sympathy,
Tom Ahn

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have such a fond remembrance of Mark and Shannon that I do think of it often. When Mark had been traveling for a while and showed up at Penn State, Shannon raced to him to give him a huge bear hug.It brought a tear to my eye. I thought to myself how truly wonderful it is that Shannon had such a loving relationship with her father. That is gift she can hold on to forever. I am truly sorry and so sad to hear of Marks passing. Donna Tabor

There must have been an opening in heaven for a photographer because Mr. Grubbs would be the best candidate. Mr. Grubbs was a positive athletic parent supporter to North Hunterdon HS. I personally enjoyed and respected how much time and energy he spent on taking photographs for our athletes and coaches in our programs. We've had many positive conversions throughout the years on athletics and how important athletics are to our students. Mr. Grubbs will surely be missed at our sporting events but never forgotten. Whenever I see a flash of light from a fans camera in the future, I will always remember Mr. Grubbs. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Grubbs family.
Respectfully,
John Deutsch

Lisa and family:
Words can not express my sorrow. Mark loved you all very much and was so very proud of you. We shared stories about our children and Mark's face would light up with joy when he spoke their names.
I came across this Irish poem and it made me think of Mark. I hope it provides some level of comfort.
"May the road rise to meet you, may the wind always be at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall softly upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hands".
Mark will be greatly missed.
My deepest sympathy and heartfelt thanks that I had the opportunity although brief, to know such a wonderful person.
Sincerely,
Rhonda Stribling and family

Lisa & family:
Feelings can’t be conveyed on any paper, feelings can’t be bought or sold, feelings can’t be said in mere words or actions, only you feel your particular feelings and this type never get old. We all carry them differently, personally but do not feel alone after time they will only get lighter. With all my years I see it’s because each of us gets stronger differently in some way because of it. As if a small piece of that person becomes part of us and adds to our whole. Because at our end those peaces, that piece will move on to someone else not as a burden but as a precious and finely honed tool.
I was extremely saddened to learn of Marks passing we shared two things one was crafting flying models and the other was through the lens. He was a fine man that had impeccable taste and mannerisms and there is hole in the fabric of our world were he once stood.
Please feel free to call upon any of my family’s resources in your time of sorrow.

We were shocked and devastated to hear the terrible news of Mark's passing. He was in the prime of his life. We are going to miss him dearly.
He was a devoted father, who always made an extra effort to attend his kids games, whether it was travelling to State College, PA for Shannon's volleyball tournament or travelling up to RPI to watch his son play college football.
He was a gifted photographer. We really enjoyed all of the photos that he took of all our kids playing volleyball.
I will miss our conversations about our various work and programming issues. He worked on many interesting projects. He has brilliant, very confident and had a ton of experience. I'm sure Tyco is scrambling to figure out how they are going to replace him.
Please accept our deepest sympathy. He was a great father, husband and friend.
Sincerely,
Jeff & Elaine Willard
