Obituary of Mark Ray Grubbs

Mark Ray Grubbs, age 47 of Union Twp., NJ, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at home. Born in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Mahlon Bledsoe Grubbs and Bettie Grubbs who were formerly of Eustis, FL. Bettie is currently living in Annandale, NJ. Mark had lived in Stewartsville before moving to Union Twp. 10 years ago. He was the Director of Human Resource Systems at Tyco International, Inc. in Princeton, NJ. In addition to his work, he was an avid model railroader and enjoyed flying model airplanes. A semi-professional photographer, he contributed to various newspapers and was recognized for his photos of his children's sports teams. Besides his mom, Bettie, Mark is survived by his wife of 24 years, Lisa, his children, Michael, Ryan and Shannon all at home. He is also survived by his brother, William Arthur Grubbs of Coral Springs, FL. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made payable to the Grubbs Family Trust, would be appreciated.
