Please accept our sympathy for the loss of your dear William. Our hearts are hurting with yours, feeling the loss of a wonderful friend. There was hardly a day that didn't include William's smile brightening our lives. We will always miss his laugh, especially when he was up to mischief.
Please let us know what we can do to help.
With our love and caring thoughts,

We called him Uncle Oscar. The first time I remember meeting him I was seven years old. That was when my mom brought us to Jamaica for the first time. We also witnessed the birth of his first son (William III). He will be really missed.

My BAK BAK / Uncle Oscar.
You will be missed and always be remembered for your kind and thoughtful gestures.
My uncle was a simple man whose outlook on life was one of simple means.
His laughter and infectious smile, his happy eyes can still be seen. I also remember him in his undershirt always cooling down. This reference to his personality without a shirt on would be that this man would take the shirt off his back to help another.
His loyalty and bonding with friends was a natural and friendships forever.
In his younger years he was an adventurer and for the most I join him with this fascination also to travel. He has traveled the world, worked in many countries and made his mark with family and friends.
He like all the Hoo Fatt men in his family cooked well or ate well and he know how to do both.
My uncle is gone and I will miss him dearly. His pipe sits by its self on a table not to be forgotten and a glass of Dewar's await him in his new place of rest.
He was favored by all and my father loved him dearly too. My father always looked up to his big brother and always made us as children love him as our very own BAK BAK.
Well the time has come and on July 17 at 10:30am my uncle was the oldest living original Hoo Fatt in our family.
As of July 17, 10:31am I became the oldest living original male Hoo Fatt in all our families.
My dear Uncle, you did well with three great boys and a loving wife and family. Cheers to you and rest soundly. Your time has just begun. Be well and enjoy you family who awaits you.
My Aunt Kim, cousins Bill and Susan, Alex and Gina, Anthony
and Grand Children Alex Jr. and Abigail. I feel your loss and will miss your father very much.
My youngest son Gavin loved his Bak Gung and I was hoping he would have had a longer time to know such a great man.
May you all find the joy of your dad's simple expressions of love and cherish his memories.
Love from my Family, Wade
