Obituary of William A. HooFatt

William A. HooFatt, Jr., age 81 of North Plainfield, NJ, died Sunday, July 17, 2011, peacefully at home. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he was the son of the late William and Mary HooFatt. In 1969 he and his family came to the United States settling in North Plainfield. William worked as a service operator for Ciba-Geigy in Summit, NJ. He was predeceased by his sister, Marjorie Shim and his brother, Donald HooFatt. William is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kim HooFatt, his sons, William HooFatt III and his wife, Susan of Virginia, Anthony HooFatt of Stewartsville, NJ and Alexander and his wife, Gina of Flemington, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Monica Fung of North Plainfield and his two grandchildren, Alex Jr. and Abigail HooFatt. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 22, 2011 from 10:00 to noon, with a service beginning at noon at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
