Ruth was my very special friend. We spoke almost every day.I will always remember the Sunday dinners where we would laugh long and hard. She was the definition of a true "lady". My kids and grandkids called her "Grandma Ruth" and loved when she visited. She was always up for an adventure at the drop of the hat. Be it attending Cardinal O'Conner's viewing in NYC, going to a meeting or program or some social function, going out for breakfast lunch or dinner, as long as it didn't conflict with her calendar (which was usually filled) she was ready to go!
Ruth fought the good fight; her faith firmly intact, her crown graciously earned. Our memories will last forever. Hopefully the pain of her loss will someday start to diminish.

Ruth was a dedicated volunteer at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington.
She was kind and helpful. She loved helping and visiting our patients and was always willing to jump in and wherever needed. We will miss her.

I will fondly remember all the ice cream sundae's at Friendly's on Monday of Holy Week before and after attending the Chrism Mass at the catherdal. All the good times we shared staying after the RAS meetings and talking and listening to Carol tell her jokes. I miss you at the 11:00 am Mass when you would arrived looking like a million dollars and you would tell me each time that all your cloths are "so old".

I always remember Mrs. Wood as being a sweet, caring, loving person who was always there for everyone - either to cheer them on and celebrate, or to console them in times of trouble. Even though I haven't seen her for years, I remember her kind face. I know she will really be missed. My condolences and prayers for Ruth's soul, and for her family at this time. She sure made a wonderful difference in this world!
