I will always remember Mr. Verta as my sweet friend Francesca's doting father. He was a kind, kind man and he did anything and everything for his family. I very much respected him and adored the time I was able to spend with him. I'll always remember the time he cooked sausage for me at their house, and it was the best I had ever tasted, and he kept putting more and more on my plate! I couldn't say no to him, so I ate and ate. As he and Concetta would always say, "Mangia! Mangia!"
Rest in Peace. You will be missed by so many people around the world.
