Obituary of Matthew Connor
Matthew B. Connor, age 46 of Lock Haven, PA, formerly of Whitehouse, died on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Temple University Hospital. Matt was born on April 2, 1965 in Flemington, NJ.
He was a graduate of Immaculata High School in Somerville and a graduate of Lock Haven University. He worked for the Lock Haven Express newspaper and had articles published in the Mountain Home Magazine in Susquehanna Valley. He was also a freelance writer and published a book called the Watering Hole. Writing was his passion.
Matt was predeceased by his brother, Martin F. Connor who died last year.
He is survived by his partner, Randall Sonner, his mother, Theresa Waage and her husband, Bruce of Whitehouse, his sisters, Nora Connor of Three Bridges, Kathi Connor-Oyster of Corinth, Maine, Mary Rose Connor of Clinton and Tisa Connor-McMahon of Stewartsville and his brother, Tim Connor of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by his six nieces and nephews, Tony, Brian, Connor, Devon, Ryan and Kelly and his brothers-in-law, Lowell Oyster and Jeff McMahon.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. There will be no visitation.
