I din't know Floyd well. I met him as a salesman for a small wine company in the early 90's. But I immediately took a liking to him. He reminded me of my father. A very successful businessman but also a warm person. Floyd loved deer hunting and so did my dad. On the few occasions we met in his office our conversation went quickly from wine to the outdoors.
I think the best compliment I could give is that Floyd was a real nice guy and I know he will be missed...God Bless

When I moved to Whitehouse in 1973, my baby girl was a toddler. Floyd always gave her a slice of baloney when I shopped weekly at the little Bishop's store on Main Street. Jill met you at heaven's gate and is with you now singing with the angels. God bless the Bishop family -- hold tight to your wonderful memories as I hold tight to my memories.

My fondest memory was when I was about 4 or 5 years old. Uncle Floyd was watching us all playing baseball in the back yard.I was the only girl in the family at that time.I was at bat.....well I guess Uncle Floyd didn't like my swing. He yelled out to me. "Robin you swing that bat like a girl!
