It is with deep sorrow that I offer condolences to the Lyness family on the loss of your dear Mother. No one adequately prepares for a loss so great in importance as the loss of a Mother. It is difficult to fathom the lives she has touched throughout her long and productive life. We all have benefitted greatly from her kind and gracious manner. We grieve with you knowing that the loss in all of our hearts is from the loss of one who has deeply and profoundly affected us in the best ways life can offer. God bless Mary Janet and the Lyness family during this time of sorrow.

I have many great memories of Janet from when I was at the house as a friend of John's. She fed me many delicious meals, and she was always very welcoming.
We used to help her carry the groceries in from the car when she got back from the store and I can still hear her exclaiming, "I spent $80 on groceries!" which was a lot back then.
My condolences go out to Tom and his family at this time. I know Janet will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
