Please accept my late condolences. I just learned that Aunt Matilda had passed away. I have such fun memories of Aunt Matilda and my mother, going to the beach, Memorial Day parades, riding in her convertible and so many others. I always looked forward to her Christmas cards as they usually arrived the day after Thanksgiving. I hope you find comfort in knowing how much Aunt Matilda was loved and will be missed.

Matilda and I were friends, we went to church together and also some adventures to Maine with Whitehouse friends. She was a hard worker with a heart of gold, Matilda was one of my Bridesmaid at my Wedding over 61 years ago.
Sad to think how time goes by and your life goes in different directions and you loose touch.
My condolence to the family she loved with all her heart. Blessing to all and know that Jesus will welcome her with open arms.

I was lucky enough to be one of "Tillie's Boys" at the Ryland Inn in the mid 80s. She was indeed a tough boss and we all better off because of Her. I thought of her often throughout my career in the restaurant business and told many stories. She was a great influence on my life. She will be missed. I am truly sorry for Your loss.

I worked with Tillie for several years at Ryland Inn. She was always fun to be around. I remember, she loved her convertibles. She sat in the first pew on the right hand side of the church. Our family sat in the 2nd pew on the left hand side. Although I haven't seen her in years, I will never forget her.

I am so sorry to hear that Aunt Tilly past away. She was truly the most wonderful and knowledgeable person. She knew everything about Whitehouse Station. She was very close friends with my Aunt Mary Dutka they are together again. So many stories. She was my side kick when we played girls softball and she had such spunk. Truly a unique and original lady from town. I know she has been gone in Pa. for awhile but always thought of her with any conversation we had about somewhere she would have been in involved in it. The Ryland Inn, The Readington Diner and just seeing her driving around town in her little yellow car, which my sister Lynn bought from her was still going around town. I loved the just chatting and stopping by to see her, she use to love and come over and do a swim with us at Eileen D.s. I could go on and on but tried to say as much as I could for Aunt TIlly was special, not a true Aunt but close enough to be. God Speed love you.
