As high school aged teens, we spent many happy week nights and weekends attending legion baseball games and then went back to the Pevonis' home. Back in the day when rabbit ears were used to scramble cable in the den and wall paper was trending in the kitchen, the Pevonis family provided us with laughs. Dad would occasionally slip us a beer (or at least leave a full cooler in the yard!) and Mom would always have something cooking...her chicken, to be more specific I think it was Chicken Murphy (with potatoes and peppers). Because of wonderful adults, like the Pevonis', and the influences they provided-we turned out "pretty alright;". I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend services Joey, but know that you and your family hold a special place in my heart.
