Obituary of Aida Emelina Jordan

Aida Emelina Jordan, age 81 of Flemington, died peacefully at the All American Assisted Living in Hillsborough, NJ on Friday, May 25, 2018.

Born in Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Tomas and Aida Cuervo.

Aida lived in Somerville for a number of years before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1984 and then Flemington in 2014.

She was an Event Planner working for Johnson & Johnson Ortho McNeil.  Her job afforded her the opportunity to travel to some wonderful destinations including Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Spain and Paris to name a few.  Aida enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with her family and close circle of friends.  She will be tremendously missed by all who knew her.

Aida was predeceased by her beloved husband, Pablo in 2014.

She is survived by her son, Paul of Flemington, her daughter, Ileana LaFever of Flemington, her sister, Marilu Verdecia and her husband, Alexis of Hialeah, FL and her two cherished grandsons, Jordan and Zachary LaFever.

A service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 3:00 to 6:00.
