My Aunt Lu is a special lady. She and my Uncle Ben served as my Godparents. She always had a kind word to share. Some of my fondest memories as a young child included going to her home for a meal. I was always happiest sitting at her table listening to stories of yesteryear and enjoying her lasagna or anything she cooked for that matter because you knew she created everything with an abundance of love for everyone to enjoy.
In recent years, I continued to enjoy conversations with my Aunt Lu. She continued to share family stories, always spoke with pride about her daughters and grandchildren, as well as her love for my Uncle Ben. My Aunt Lu continued to take an active interest in my life and her kindness always extended to my wife and son.
You will be missed my many Aunt Lu and I trust that you are now surrounded by as much love in heaven as you were here on Earth.
